Recently I organized my car for everyday and emergency use, and I really enjoy the entire process. Gathering all of the items that I have already on hand, taking a trip to my local Dollar Tree, browsing on Amazon, searching through my coupon stash, and figuring out the best function for myself and my family in the car.
Sharing some organization essentials, hacks, and storage that I used in my car.
Dollar Tree Organization Items
One of my favorite places to shop on a budget for organizing any space is Dollar Tree. They have traditional and nontraditional items that you can use to organize your space, in this case, we are organizing in the car.
Depending on the size of your car, Dollar Tree carries all different sizes of bins and containers. These containers and bins are helpful when organizing the console, interior, and trunk.
Also, Dollar Tree carries mini-size/travel lotions, deodorants, sanitizers, and more. Easy items to store in the console or glove compartment in the car.

- Collapsible Bins (binder clips to hold bins together, if you have individual bins)
- Wipes – Baby and/or Disinfectant
- Armour All Cleaner/Wipes
- Kleenex, paper towels
- Hair Ties
- Combs/Brushes

- Pain reliever
- Organizational Items: Plastic cups, toothbrush holder, vinyl envelopes, cosmetic bags

Organizing your car for emergencies is something that everyone needs to do, especially in this day in age. Have those emergency essentials such as jumper cables, an extra blanket, Lysol wipes, paper towels, window glass breaker, flashlight, snacks and etc.

These are very simple emergency solutions but were important to the situation at the time.
VALUABLE TIPS:
- Remember where everything is that you organized
- Go through your items monthly (make sure nothing has spilled, melted, dried up or etc.)
- Replace/Restock those items that were used or depleted (make a list on your phone)
It is very exciting to go shopping and buy all of the things when starting to organize your car. But you will be surprised how many items you may already have in your home that you could use for your car organization.
