Easy Tuna Sandwich/Salad | How To Cook Budget Meals
My family’s number one go-to budget meal that is easy, healthy and makes a lot for a large family is tuna fish sandwiches for dinner. Grabbing a couple of cans or pouches to have on hand in your pantry is a must for everyone. They are great for emergencies, stretching the budget and when your grocery store trip is long overdue.
This meal is great for teens, young adults to learn to make independently.
The best thing about making tuna, you can create it how you like it. Super simple with just mayonnaise. Or add any toppings or sides according to your preferences.
I enjoy making my family’s tuna with all of the works. It is just how my Mother made it growing up and we all love it that way. There is a video below to show how we normally make our tuna for our wonderful sandwiches. Check out another budget meals here that my family enjoys that is healthy and kid-friendly – Ground Turkey Zucchini Skillet Meal.
